Harris has handled injury cases since 1982, and has limited his practice to injury cases since 1987. Over a period of seventeen years from 1987 through 2003, our attorney Thomas R. Harris, defended employers and insurance companies in mostly workers' compensation cases but sometimes other injury cases, such as slip and fall and automobile accidents. Then in January of 2004, Mr. Harris decided to reinvent his law practice to representing only injured people, rather than the companies. Mr. Harris's years of experience representing insurance companies in injury cases has put him in a very unique position now that he prosecutes claims against the same type of companies he once defended. He understands how insurance companies defend and value cases, which allows him to put forth his clients' cases in their most favorable light.

About Our Attorney
Thomas R. Harris practices personal injury law, and has specialized in injury cases since 1987. Mr. Harris, a native of Mississippi, graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. degree in Office Management. He received his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1982, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board, and recipient of the prestigious American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Ethics (Legal Profession). He practiced law in Mississippi for several years before moving to Florida in 1990, where he was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1991. Mr. Harris is a member of the Mississippi and Florida Bar Associations. Mr. Harris has lectured at numerous seminars on the subject of injury law, including, but not limited to, the 1993 and 1994 Florida Workers' Compensation Educational Conference, which is the largest annual workers' compensation seminar in the state of Florida.

About Our Staff
Natalie Salazar is our bi-lingual legal assistant/paralegal who contributes significantly to our firm's professional image and paper flow, by her scheduling of client appointments and court events such as depositions, mediations and trials. She is heavily involved with assisting clients through the claims and litigation process. She is our clients' day-to-day contact person who handles your phone calls, questions, issues and paper work thereby freeing Mr. Harris to concentrate his attention to the litigation aspects of our claims such as attending your depositions, mediations, and trials. Natalie understands the mission of Harris Law Group and is committed to her job and the contribution to our success in the resolution of your claim.
